A man described as “very popular” was discovered deceased at a Bronze Age stone circle in the Peak District during a summer solstice gathering. The individual has been identified as Isaac Clare-Watts, a skilled joiner from Arnold, Nottinghamshire. The incident occurred at the Nine Ladies Stone Circle in Stanton Lees, Derbyshire, on June 22, prompting a police response.

Following the discovery, a 41-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of murder in connection with the case. Isaac Clare-Watts, who worked for Frank Goulding Ltd, a construction company in Nottingham, was known as a valued member of the team. The company expressed deep sadness over the tragic news and extended condolences to his family.
