A renowned traditional healer in Ghana, known as a witch doctor, has declared his intention to cast a spell on Harry Kane to enhance his country’s chances in the upcoming World Cup match against England. Nana Kwaku Bonsam, a well-known figure in Ghana, asserts that he previously used his mystical powers to assist his country during the 2014 World Cup by allegedly causing a knee injury to Cristiano Ronaldo.
The witch doctor, whose name translates to “Devil of Wednesday,” has stated that he plans to employ the same magical techniques to influence England’s captain when Ghana faces England in the World Cup on June 23. Nana, speaking to the Daily Star, expressed his confidence in his abilities by saying, “I am working on Harry Kane. I have demonstrated my capabilities in the past, and I am prepared to take action to hinder him. I am renowned for my accurate predictions.”
Nana attributes his supernatural abilities to the Kofi Oo Kofi shrine and identifies himself as ‘Africa’s only Authentic Man,’ offering services such as rituals, spiritual guidance, healing, and protection. He previously claimed responsibility for causing a knee injury to Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of a crucial World Cup match in 2014.
According to Nana, his magical practices involve using a special powder derived from his deities, combined with various herbs and concoctions, which he then places around an image of the targeted individual. Despite skepticism, he maintains his focus on influencing outcomes through spiritual means, emphasizing the mystical nature of the injuries he inflicts.
In the case of Cristiano Ronaldo, the football star had been managing existing knee issues before the alleged spell, but he played against Ghana in the World Cup and even scored a decisive goal leading Portugal to a 2-1 victory. Nana’s claims of magical intervention have sparked controversy, yet the match results ultimately determine the effectiveness of his mystical endeavors.
