Jane Kelvey, 68, and her husband Alan, 70, were on their 40ft yacht named Bright Future, en route from the south coast of England to France when the incident occurred. Mrs. Kelvey described the encounter as “a bit scary” and mentioned that although she didn’t feel they were in immediate danger, it was definitely an unusual and unsettling situation. As they sailed away from the area, they were left bewildered by the unexpected turn of events.
