Prince Harry made unexpected appearances at various events while missing a significant royal gathering. Following the celebration of King Charles’ official birthday by other working royals, the Duke of Sussex attended the NBA finals in Texas and then participated in the Warrior Games for military personnel in need.
The Warrior Games, which served as the inspiration for Harry’s successful Invictus Games, were held in San Antonio. Harry actively engaged in the event, assisting in serving barbecue food, presenting prizes to winners, and offering support to the participants on their recovery journey.
In another appearance, Harry was seen at an NBA game in San Antonio, accompanied by US Army veteran JP Lane. He sat beside NBA Commissioner Adam Silver during the match, where the New York Knicks emerged victorious.
Despite Harry’s presence at these events, his wife Meghan and their children were absent. The royal couple has been frequently attending sports events since relocating to the United States in 2020.
While Harry was busy with his engagements, King Charles partook in the Trooping the Colour event, showcasing the British Army’s ceremonial splendor. This marked Harry’s fourth consecutive year of not attending the event.
Meanwhile, Princess Diana and her children joined the Queen at Horse Guards Parade to witness the military spectacle. The young royals, including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, observed the event from a window overlooking the parade ground.
The royal family’s carriage procession from Buckingham Palace attracted crowds along The Mall, with Charles and Camilla escorted by the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.
