Police have reported that a missing schoolgirl may be in the company of a wanted man facing prison recall. The 15-year-old named Chanelle vanished from her Shropshire residence last Thursday and is suspected to be with 24-year-old Kyle Brayne.
Brayne was previously the subject of an appeal by West Mercia Police in May due to his recall to prison status. He has known affiliations with Birmingham, Baschurch, Shrewsbury, and Telford.
Authorities issued a plea to locate Chanelle on Sunday, speculating that she might have traveled to Wales but could also be found in the Bridgnorth or Oswestry regions. Reports from BirminghamLive suggest that the duo could be anywhere in Shropshire or Wales.
West Mercia Police stated, “Officers searching for missing teenager Chanelle suspect she might be with wanted man Kyle Brayne. Chanelle, aged 15, was reported missing on May 28, and it is believed she could be in Bridgnorth or Oswestry with 24-year-old Brayne. However, they could be located anywhere in Shropshire, with indications that they may have crossed into Wales.”
Brayne is currently wanted by the police on a prison recall. Individuals who have any information regarding the whereabouts of Chanelle or Brayne are urged to contact emergency services immediately by dialing 999. For any tips or leads, please call 101.
