Two individuals have been hospitalized, with one in critical condition, after a violent stabbing incident on Christmas Eve. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) responded to the scene in Bangor, with armed officers present, as reported by the Belfast Telegraph.
Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward following the distressing event that resulted in two people being admitted to the hospital on the eve of Christmas. A PSNI spokesperson stated, “Police are currently investigating a stabbing incident in the Chippendale Avenue area of Bangor tonight, December 24th. Two individuals were transported to the hospital, one in critical condition.”
The spokesperson continued, “Investigations are ongoing, and individuals who may have information, including CCTV footage, are encouraged to contact the police at 101, referencing case number 914 of 24/12/25. Alternatively, reports can be submitted online via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport, or anonymously to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org.” The Air ambulance also reportedly responded to the scene.
