“Police Seek Man in Teen Harassment Case”

Police authorities have unveiled surveillance video following an alleged harassment incident involving a 16-year-old girl at a Sainsbury’s store. The teenager, shopping at Greens Lane in Kimberley, Nottingham, reported being stared at by an unknown man. The situation escalated when the man followed her outside the Card Factory, complimented her, inquired about her residence, and discussed his property. A quick intervention by a store employee prompted the man to flee the scene, according to police statements.

Nottinghamshire Police have shared an image of the man they wish to question regarding the incident, which occurred around 3 pm. PC Olivia Pettitt, leading the investigation, condemned the unacceptable behavior that left the girl feeling frightened and intimidated. The police have pursued various leads since the incident was reported on November 9.

“We are treating all forms of harassment and intimidation with utmost seriousness. Following leads from the public is crucial in advancing our inquiry. If you recognize the individual in the image or are the person depicted, we urge you to contact us promptly,” expressed PC Pettitt.
