Despite criticism about the film lacking a clear beginning or end and using a “recycled” plot, Cameron’s ability to tap into cultural trends, such as the resurgence of 3D, has been credited for the movie’s success.
Film critic Chris Olson emphasizes that Cameron’s storytelling resonates with a wide audience through straightforward narratives and grand cinematic spectacles that demand the big screen experience.
