A woman living with a large collection of haunted dolls has disclosed that Christmas triggers unusual behavior from them, once leading to a “full-scale prank war” in her residence.
Teej, a paranormal investigator and collector of haunted items based in the US, has spent the past five years gathering eerie artifacts and currently coexists with numerous haunted dolls. Her collection includes 54 haunted dolls housed in their dedicated room at her home.
According to Teej, these dolls cause disturbances such as flickering lights, rummaging through the fridge, and taking control of her electronic devices to play their preferred tunes on regular days. However, during Christmas, their activities escalate to a new level.
She has observed unexplained movements and decorations mysteriously rearranged overnight during the festive season, resulting in some of her most cherished moments. Teej recounted an incident where she hung small stockings for the dolls as a festive touch, which unexpectedly transformed into a continuous prank exchange. Despite her efforts to rehang the stockings daily, they were consistently pulled down until only two remained by Christmas Day.
During a TikTok video recording, Teej experienced another eerie occurrence when music suddenly blared from her Alexa device downstairs just as she was concluding. Investigating, she found a Queen song playing, coincidentally the favorite band of her haunted teddy bear named Jeremiah.
To prevent the playful antics from escalating, Teej has established specific rules with the dolls upon their arrival at her home. These rules emphasize no harm to her, her pets, or any visitors. She underscores the importance of setting verbal boundaries with each new haunted doll to ensure a harmonious coexistence.
Teej’s fascination with spirits originated from a significant encounter at six years old when her family used an Ovilus device during a ghost hunting session. The device unexpectedly warned them to move quickly, potentially averting a dangerous situation. This positive encounter influenced Teej’s interest in haunted dolls with positive energy, shaping her outlook on the paranormal.
Since commencing her collection five years ago, Teej has encountered numerous haunted toys, delving into their backgrounds online and attending exhibitions to interact with them personally. Despite the peculiar behaviors of her haunted collection, Teej finds the holiday season to bring a unique sense of joy to her home.
