“Disneyland Paris Sighting: Wanted Lawyer Kerry Stevens in Dining Drama”

Newly released video footage captures the bold moment when a former lawyer and her accomplice were confronted by restaurant staff before fleeing without settling their £62 bill.

Kerry Stevens has resurfaced in Disneyland Paris despite being wanted by the police for multiple alleged dine-and-dash incidents, including one at The Castle Inn in Little Wakering, Essex. This occurred after Stevens was disbarred as a lawyer following a conviction for failing to pay £60.91 at a Harvester restaurant.

Despite missing court appearances nine times and having four arrest warrants issued against her, social media images show Stevens in Disneyland Paris, with a family friend suggesting she has fled to the historical region of Lorraine in northeastern France.

The new video footage captures a tense interaction inside the deserted Castle Inn, where Stevens and her alleged partner-in-crime Daniel Alani attempted to leave without paying a bill of £62.20.

The video shows an exchange at the restaurant involving Stevens and three others, with the 40-year-old seen sitting at a table with a bag beside her, later joined by Alani at a neighboring table.

One man, standing, converses with the ex-lawyer, who then picks up her bag and tries to exit the establishment. Another man appears to be annoyed and moves to follow her, while a third person attempts to prevent her from leaving.

The confrontation escalates as Stevens tries to depart but is blocked and pushed back into the room before the video ends. As the footage lacks sound, the exact nature of the discussion remains unclear.

According to staff at the restaurant, the couple allegedly fled after consuming prawn cocktail, breaded mushrooms, two roast chicken dinners with extra lamb, two cokes, an orange juice, and a medium glass of pinot wine.

Ken Todd, the landlord of The Castle Inn in Little Wakering, Essex, previously remarked, “For the sake of £62, if they came in and were starving I’d just give them the food. The man tried to leave through the back door of the pub, which I had already locked, and apparently the woman attempted to escape through the bathroom window.”

Earlier this year, Stevens posted images of herself at Disneyland Paris, wearing Mickey Mouse ears and holding a bubble wand, leading to speculation that she had fled to France after evading court appearances despite pleas from her family.

Additional photos of Stevens in legal attire began circulating online after she made headlines for allegedly targeting restaurants and taxi services.

Charged with eleven counts of making off without payment and one count of shop theft in 2024, Stevens denies the charges and is awaiting trial. She and Alani first drew police attention in connection with a dine-and-dash incident at a pub where patrons prevented them from leaving without paying their £62 bill.

Steve Yeung of The Pearl Dragon restaurant on Eastern Esplanade also alleged that the pair had absconded after a meal amounting to £127, comprising four starters, four main courses, and up to eight soft drinks.

The duo is suspected of targeting taxi drivers as well, with multiple cabbies reportedly being defrauded of their fares. Alani, an electrician, pleaded guilty to theft, shoplifting, and eight counts of making off without payment earlier this year.
