A lorry driver was left with severe facial injuries requiring nine stitches after a funeral turned into a chaotic brawl involving a father and his two sons. The incident took place at a wake held at Prenton Golf Club following a funeral service on October 17, 2024.
The family, known as the Redmonds from Holm Lane in Prenton, Wirral, had a history of violence at memorial gatherings. Witnesses noted that the father and sons were not familiar faces at the event and were deemed inappropriately dressed.
The altercation erupted when the family members began arguing and shouting, leading to a physical confrontation.
