A woman has been sentenced to nine years in prison for orchestrating a deadly acid attack on her former spouse. Paris Wilson, aged 35, played a significant role in planning the violent assault on Danny Cahalane, where sulfuric acid was thrown on him at his residence on Lipson Road in Plymouth on February 21, 2025.
Following the attack, the 38-year-old father of two underwent extensive treatment in the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on May 3 the following year. Wilson was recently found guilty of manslaughter and attempted kidnapping but was acquitted of murder after a lengthy four-month trial held at Winchester Crown Court.
Another individual involved in the crime, Ramarnee Bakas, a 24-year-old from Islington, London, was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Additionally, Abdulrasheed Adedoja, 23, from Neasden, London, and Israel Augustus, 27, from Tottenham, London, received prison terms of 31 years and 30 years, respectively, for their involvement in the murder.
