Horrified residents have likened a destroyed home in Ukraine to a “mass grave” following a suspected Russian missile attack that tragically took the lives of ten family members. The victims are believed to include the parents, Artem Voronov and Olena, along with seven of their children and an 18-month-old grandson.
This devastating incident occurred as Russian forces sought retaliation for recent attacks on Russia by targeting President Volodymyr Zelensky’s hometown of Kryvyi Rih. The assault, consisting of 70 missiles and over 280 drones, resulted in the destruction of numerous residential properties and civilian establishments, as confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The family deaths were unbeknownst to President Zelensky when he initially addressed the situation. The missile strike affected two homes in Radushne village, leading to the tragic loss of the children Mark, Dominika, Viorika, Zakharii, Azarii Ilai, Federika, and Emilia, as well as their young nephew.
Efforts to identify the victims are still ongoing, with one of the family members learning about the tragedy through an online forum. The devastated community is mourning the loss of ten family members, including three grandchildren, who perished in the missile attack.
The strike resulted in the total destruction of two residences and the partial damage of five others, with emergency responders managing to contain subsequent fires. The catastrophic event has left deep scars on the community, emphasizing the brutal impact of the conflict on innocent civilians.
