A 30-year-old model, Sukanya Thawichokkamthon, was found deceased in the River Kwai in Thailand after a night out. Her body was discovered by a fisherman on a raft, and authorities have launched an investigation.
Upon initial inspection, officers noted no signs of physical harm on the victim, although a small amount of white powder was found in her clothing. Sukanya had taken a ride-hailing car to the Somdet Phra Sangharaja Yannasangwon Bridge, where she was dropped off late at night. The driver reported that she appeared to be searching for someone or something before leaving the vehicle in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.
The victim’s identity was confirmed through DNA testing after her sister assisted the police. Despite the tragic incident, Sukanya’s family has expressed disbelief that she would have taken her own life. Described as a dedicated mother by her loved ones, the model had a significant social media following of over 24,000 followers.
Investigators are currently awaiting the full post-mortem report, and CCTV footage from the area is under analysis. Authorities are also actively searching for Sukanya’s missing bag and mobile phone to gather more information about the circumstances leading to her demise.
