Expressing his views on Kane’s performance, Trump stated, “I think they perhaps made a mistake when they made him a defensive player, but what do I know about soccer?” He further commented on the strategy of shifting the team’s best player to defense, emphasizing the need for offensive play. Despite the outcome, Trump praised Kane as a great individual.
