The family of a four-year-old girl described as “cheeky, funny, and sassy” is mourning her tragic death after she was fatally hit by a car. The incident occurred on Nottingham Road in Gotham, prompting emergency services to respond at 2:28 pm on Sunday, as confirmed by Nottinghamshire Police.
The young girl, Olive Farrow, passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital. A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on bail. In a heartfelt statement released by the police, Olive’s family remembered her as a vibrant child with a big personality, always bringing joy through singing, dancing, and acts of kindness.
The family expressed their deep sorrow over the loss, highlighting Olive’s creativity and close bond with her brothers. They shared how Olive was eagerly anticipating joining her brother at primary school and thanked the community for their support during this difficult time.
