“Fugitive Father sought after Fatal DUI Crash”

A manhunt is underway for a father who caused a fatal crash while driving under the influence, resulting in the death of his baby daughter. Emmanuel Sakyi, 31, was convicted in his absence of causing death by dangerous driving and was sentenced to 15 years in prison. The incident occurred in December 2022 in Milton Keynes when Sakyi collided with another vehicle, causing fatal injuries to his seven-month-old daughter, Emmanuela, who was in the car with her mother. Sakyi was found to be driving well above the legal alcohol limit and in a reckless manner.

Despite the court’s ruling, Sakyi remains at large as he did not attend his trial. On what would have been his daughter’s fourth birthday, a reward of up to £7,500 has been offered by Crimestoppers for any information leading to Sakyi’s apprehension. The independent charity emphasized the severity of the case and urged anyone with information to come forward anonymously.

Authorities have advised the public not to approach Sakyi if sighted but to immediately contact emergency services. Crimestoppers can be reached at 0800 555 111 for those willing to provide information regarding Sakyi’s whereabouts.
