“Tragic Death at Belfast Bonfire Gathering”

A man tragically lost his life in an incident at a popular bonfire gathering.

The individual, identified as Warren “AKA” Lyttle within the local community, reportedly fell from the Braniel’s Eleventh Night bonfire in the eastern region of Belfast on Friday evening.

Following the accident, he was rushed to the hospital on Friday night but succumbed to his injuries the next day.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland released a statement confirming the incident, stating that they were notified of the man’s tragic death on Saturday afternoon. Investigations are ongoing, and the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland has been alerted.

In response to the situation, the Braniel Bonfire Committee, Braniel Loyal Flute Band, and Braniel Community Group expressed their deep sorrow over the loss and announced that the bonfire event would proceed as planned that night, respecting the wishes of the deceased’s family.

A spokesperson from Dundela Social Club, as reported by BelfastLive, described the victim as a familiar presence who would be dearly missed by many. The club extended heartfelt condolences to Warren Lyttle’s family and friends.
