“Wife Saves Husband from Mid-Air Window Mishap”

A man traveling on a Ryanair flight experienced a harrowing incident when he was pulled toward a broken window mid-air and saved by his wife. The flight, en route from Thessaloniki to Memmingen, Germany, had to return to Greece after an engine emergency caused debris to strike the window.

The pilot detected engine issues shortly after departing from Greece at 5:55 am local time and made the decision to head back to Thessaloniki while flying over North Macedonia. During the descent, a section of the damaged engine broke off, hitting a cabin window and causing 61-year-old Ljubiša Karović from Serbia to be partially sucked out due to the air pressure.

His quick-thinking wife, Svetlana Grković, managed to hold onto his legs as other passengers rushed to assist, successfully pulling him back into the cabin. The incident was a tense moment but ended with no serious injuries.

This event serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of air travel and the importance of safety measures onboard flights. Passengers and crew working together in emergencies can make a significant difference in ensuring everyone’s well-being during challenging situations.
