“McDonald’s Launches New Sauces and Burgers for Flavorful Twist”

It appears that a new wave of excitement is not just limited to the rising temperatures.

McDonald’s has introduced a fresh range of sauces, accompanied by two new burgers and a returning favorite, creating a guilt-free zone for double dipping.

While the classic Big Mac has its allure, customers can now savor a whole new flavor experience with the introduction of new sauces, including Hot Honey, Korean BBQ, Ranch, and a zesty spicy mayo, promising to elevate the enjoyment of chicken nuggets.

Having had the opportunity to sample these offerings before the official launch, as a devoted McDonald’s enthusiast, I can attest to the potential game-changing impact these new flavors may have on your usual McDonald’s order.

Personally, I typically opt for BBQ or sweet curry sauces, making the arrival of Korean BBQ particularly intriguing. Alongside the new dips, McDonald’s is also unveiling the Hot Honey Sausage and Egg McMuffin, the Hot Honey McCrispy, and reintroducing the beloved Cornetto McFlurry.

The trio of new dips packs a flavorful punch. The creamy ranch presents a delightful alternative for those not keen on BBQ or spicy options, offering a familiar American favorite with its cool and creamy buttermilk sauce infused with herb and garlic hints.

The Korean BBQ sauce brings a unique twist to the McDonald’s menu, blending sweet soy, ginger, and garlic for a distinct umami experience, deviating from the traditional BBQ flavor profile while still offering a refreshing take on a classic taste.

The Hot Honey sauce, known for its intense sweetness, is a welcomed addition, adding a sticky and runny texture that combines sweet and spicy elements, though it may require extra napkins for cleanup. It delivers a pleasant kick that hot honey enthusiasts will appreciate.

In my opinion, the Hot Honey sauce shines best on its own for dipping nuggets or Chicken Selects, rather than being integrated into the McCrispy or McMuffin options. Although it leaves a lingering kick, it caters well to those who enjoy the heat of hot honey.

Regarding the new McCrispy and McMuffin offerings, the sauce provides a nice flavor boost, but for me, nothing beats a breakfast McMuffin paired with a dollop of ketchup. The hot honey McCrispy was a messy yet enjoyable treat.

In addition to the new sauces, McDonald’s is bringing back the Cornetto McFlurry after a 17-year hiatus, offering a nostalgic blend of soft-serve ice cream with rich chocolate or strawberry sauce and classic Cornetto cone pieces.

For those with hearty appetites, the Big Arch with bacon is a new addition, while a rumored secret menu hack, the Hot Honey McFlurry, has also been making waves among customers.

Having sampled the Hot Honey McFlurry myself, I was pleasantly surprised by its unique harmony of creamy ice cream and spicy hot honey. While not a personal favorite, the contrast between creaminess and spice was intriguing.

For those curious about this daring McFlurry flavor, it is exclusively available through the McDonald’s app for online ordering and either pickup or delivery.

The expansion of flavor options at McDonald’s is a welcome change, with the ranch sauce emerging as a top choice for me. I look forward to indulging in the delightful experience of double dipping my nuggets in this delectable sauce.

All the new McDonald’s menu items will be accessible in stores and online starting Tuesday, July 14.
