“Mystery Surrounds Disappearance of Cargo Plane Off Pakistan Coast”

A cargo plane carrying five crew members has disappeared off the coast of Pakistan after losing communication with air traffic control during a flight originating from the United Arab Emirates.

Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority has initiated search and rescue operations in the Arabian Sea following the aircraft’s disappearance late on Tuesday night. The reason for the incident remains unknown at this time.

The Boeing 737, operated by K2 Airways based in Karachi, was en route from Sharjah to Karachi when the crew encountered a navigation system problem around 9:18 pm local time.

Reports from the Civil Aviation Authority indicate that radar data displayed a sudden decrease in altitude by the aircraft, followed by a sharp turn just a few minutes later. Contact with the plane was lost at approximately 9:21 pm, when it was approximately 155 nautical miles west of Karachi.

Efforts are ongoing to locate the missing aircraft and its crew as authorities strive to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The cargo plane, a Boeing 737 operated by K2 Airways from Karachi, vanished while en route from Sharjah in the UAE to Karachi, prompting search-and-rescue operations in the Arabian Sea by Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority. The cause of the aircraft’s disappearance remains unknown.
