“Pizza Express Inquiry into Prince Andrew’s Alibi”

Pizza Express executives initiated an internal investigation to determine if Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor had visited the restaurant, as reported. According to recent BBC Newsnight reports, senior management at Pizza Express probed an alibi provided by Andrew during his 2019 interview with Emily Maitlis. The investigation did not yield conclusive evidence regarding his presence at the establishment.

The inquiry reportedly involved former employees, with the manager in question having left the company, rendering him unavailable for questioning. Andrew had claimed to have visited a Pizza Express in Woking with his daughter on the same day he was accused of inappropriate behavior by Virginia Giuffre. However, Giuffre alleged that she and Andrew were together at a nightclub in London before the incident occurred.

Despite Andrew’s denial of any misconduct, BBC Newsnight revealed that they had filed a Freedom of Information request with the Metropolitan Police to inquire if royal protection officers had accompanied Andrew to the Woking branch decades ago. The police declined to confirm or deny the existence of such information, citing national security concerns.

Following his arrest on his 66th birthday for suspected misconduct in public office, Andrew was questioned and later released under investigation. Authorities conducted searches at his former residences in Windsor and Norfolk, gathering evidence for further examination. Detectives have also requested original Epstein files from the US Department of Justice but have not yet received any information.

In ongoing developments, investigators are actively reviewing the evidence gathered during the operation to progress the case. Pizza Express has been contacted for comments on the matter.
