“Mr Muscle vs. White Vinegar: The Ultimate Window Cleaner Showdown”

Having clean, streak-free windows can significantly enhance the appearance of your home, especially in the summer when sunlight exposes every smudge and fingerprint. With the arrival of summer and intermittent heatwaves, neglecting window cleaning is no longer an option. Living in a high-rise flat adds complexity to the task, making it essential to find effective and efficient cleaning solutions.

To compare the effectiveness of two budget-friendly cleaning sprays, I pitted Mr Muscle Window and Glass Cleaner, bought for £1.99 from Savers or £2.50 at Tesco, against my trusted Stardrops White Vinegar Spray. While I have used white vinegar for cleaning mirrors regularly, I had never tried it on windows before, making it an interesting experiment alongside the new Mr Muscle spray.

Starting with the white vinegar spray on the lower window pane, I sprayed, left it to work, and then buffed it off. Unfortunately, the results were disappointing as the marks remained stubborn even after multiple attempts, requiring considerable effort and time to achieve a satisfactory outcome.

However, the Mr Muscle cleaner delivered impressive results right from the first wipe on the upper pane, effectively removing all marks without the need for a second application. Its performance was further validated by positive reviews, with users praising its ease of use and effectiveness in effortlessly cleaning glass surfaces.

In comparison to the white vinegar spray, the Mr Muscle cleaner proved to be a more efficient and reliable solution for window cleaning. Its higher price tag is justified by the superior results it delivers, making it a worthwhile investment for maintaining spotless windows throughout the home.
