“15-Year-Old Arrested for Alleged Schoolgirl Kidnapping”

A 15-year-old teenager was apprehended for allegedly kidnapping a 17-year-old girl outside a school in south-east Melbourne. The incident took place as the girl was entering Keysborough Secondary College’s Banksia Campus in Springvale South around 8:30 am on Friday. The boy reportedly coerced the girl into a vehicle that quickly left the scene, as per police reports.

Law enforcement officers swiftly responded to the situation, leading to the arrest of the 15-year-old boy, who hails from Wyndham. The arrest occurred at midday, approximately an hour away from the school. Subsequently, the boy has been charged with abduction and is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.

The motive behind the alleged abduction remains unclear at this time. Following the incident, the girl was taken to the hospital in a stable condition. Authorities suggest that the individuals involved might have had a prior acquaintance.

A spokesperson from Victoria Police mentioned that detectives from the Armed Crime Squad had pressed charges against the teenage boy for the purported abduction incident in Springvale South. The investigators asserted that the girl was accosted by a male while entering the secondary college on Janine Road at around 8:30 am.

The male allegedly forced the girl into a vehicle that departed the scene. The Special Operations Group later apprehended the 15-year-old boy from the Wyndham area on Jezebel Way in Tarneit around noon. The girl was promptly taken to the hospital. The boy is now facing abduction charges and is expected to appear in court later in the day. It is believed that there was some form of prior relationship between the two individuals.
