Reports from over 2,800 users flooded in through the real-time outage tracker, Downdetector, shortly after 9 am on Thursday, June 18 local time. The mobile network provider is currently investigating a widespread outage affecting users nationwide, with many experiencing their phones switching to SOS mode.

A spokesperson from Vodafone issued an apology for the inconvenience caused, assuring customers that efforts are underway to swiftly address the issue. Customers are advised by Vodafone to restart their devices as a troubleshooting step.
