Kneecap’s Móglaí Bap participated in a 10K charity run in Phoenix Park, Dublin, to support Palestine. The event aimed to raise funds for the Gaza Food and Play Project, providing aid to families in Gaza. Móglaí, also known as Naoise O Caireallain, fulfilled his pledge to run 10K in every city where Kneecap performs to support Palestine. After the run, he posed for a selfie with a fan in Phibsborough.
During the charity run, environmental activist Greta Thunberg surprised everyone by joining the crowd of runners. Kneecap has raised over £30,000 for Gaza aid and has also contributed proceeds from their performances to the cause. The trio, consisting of Mo Chara, DJ Próvaí, and Móglaí Bap, often addresses political matters, particularly the situation in Gaza. President Catherine Connolly showed her support by acknowledging Móglaí Bap during the run.
